As a result, Chemistry introduces a student to an entirely new world:  a completely new paradigm of how the reality we experience is supported by a seemingly invisible precursor. The knowledge embodied in Chemistry allows a student to enter this realm, draw parallels (derive a fundamental relationship) to their own world and understand the very nature of Biology, Physics and Astronomy.
